Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, died January 19, 2008, in the USA. She was an American film television, theatre, as well as voice actor. Pleshette began her career in the theatre. She appeared in films in late 1950s. Later, she became an important actor in films like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). From 1972 to 1978 Pleshette appeared regularly on a variety of TV productions. She also was the character Emily Hartley, which earned her several Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was born on the 31st of January 1937 in the New York City neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, to Geraldine (nee Kaplan)[1] and Eugene Pleshette. The parents of the couple were Jewish and descendants of immigrants from Russia, Austria-Hungary. She was the daughter of Geraldine Rivers, a performer and dancer. Her father was the stage manager at the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and also of the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
