Amy Smart is a former American model and actor. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart began her modeling career there. In 1996, she made her debut as a actress in the TV movie Her Costly Affair. It was a struggle to land the role she wanted for her in Starship Troopers. At first, it was difficult for Amy to switch from modelling to acting. The reason is that most models aren't great actors.
