Amy Smart has been a model, actress and a former American. Amy Smart, born and raised California USA began her modelling in Italy. Her acting career began in 1996, when she was a character in the TV film Her Costly Affair. It was a long road to get her into Starship Troopers in a smaller role. It was a difficult transition for Amy since she needed transition from modelling to acting. Models aren't regarded as the best actors and so tend to get smaller, insignificant roles. However, Amy did not give up and transitioned to larger roles, beginning with the series The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. The romantic comedy Just Friends, which also included Ryan Reynolds, saw her play some more notable parts. Amy was finally recognized for her efforts in the last decade. Amy continued to make major films such as the Crank series with Jason Statham and the series Shameless where she played the well-loved character of recurring.
