Amy Smart has been a model, actress, and former American. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart began her modelling career there. In 1996 she made her first appearance as an actor in the TV movie Her Costly Affair. The struggle she had to get the role in Starship Troopers, a film with mainly minor roles was extremely intense. This was not easy for Amy as she had change from modeling to acting. Models aren't thought of as great actors and so tend to play smaller, less important roles. But somehow Amy was determined to keep going and began to take on larger roles, beginning with the series The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. Then she stepped into leading roles with the 2005s romantic comedy film Just Friends which also starred Ryan Reynolds. Amy attained the fame she'd been seeking for nearly 10 years when her film called Just Friends came out. Amy went on to star in major films like the Crank Series alongside Jason Statham, and Shameless.
