Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he's referred to in the pop world, is an British composer and singer. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. The father of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born February 1st, 1994 at Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. There together with his three classmates He formed his own group, White Eskimo. White Eskimo won 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to the excellent presentation they gave. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to form the band in 2010. The group sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Be Sucky Without You as well as Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart at the time of the contest. This made them one of the frontrunners to win the contest. But they came in third, a place behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell were not able to get the win in the contest. However, Cowell offered Harry Styles a 2 million pounds contract with Syco.
